Note : Here's some more edgelord shit, auteur Tom Six, who started out as a director on the original Dutch Big Brother, felt he was just so extremely bursting with artistic intent and something important to say that he made three of these films, had apparently made a few things before, but nothing anyone had heard of before he found his angle. And his angle was stitching people ass to mouth, a success formula of international proportions. Is it gross? Sure. Is there a point? Not much. [url=#/search/hevk+dieter+laser/1/]Dieter Laser[/url]'s psychotically intense performance does help anchor it, though, and there are some great moments to make you squirm, but it doesn't quite come together, ironically. It looks pretty nice, though, and the makeup effects are appropriately realistic and nasty.

Two female tourists from New York visiting Germany get a flat tire on the way to a club, and seek help in the residence of Dr. Heiter, an insane surgeon who's obsessed with conjoined twins, who in his professional care he specialized in separating. However, in his retirement, Heiter has become obsessed with the opposite process, he wants to create new conjoined creatures from separate individuals. To this end, he kidnaps the two women, and surgically connects them two women and a Japanese man into a single "human centipede" with a continuous digestive system, anus to mouth. Unsurprisingly, the three participants are not extremely satisfied with Heiter's bedside manner or attitude towards informed consent, and so they plot to escape, but it's not as easy as it seems.

As is common with modern films, this BluRay is quite good, although it had some weird black borders that I've cropped out, and it's 16:9 full frame. There's very little grain, so this wasn't a difficult encode, showing off all the delicious details. The 5.1 is also all as it should, and the commentary track, well, it's what you'd expect from the director of this.
